Student's Diary

When you came to the university for the first time you were prepared well, isn't it? This was the first you were to live on your own far away from your parents who could watch you all the day. It is after you cleared with admission staff that everything seemed different, new things, new life and new people and so you had to adjust so as to fit to the new enviroment.
      End of semester exams are finally here , having gone all around the corners of the school from the club to the friends hostels and attending all the parties no matter the day of the week and the distance, you dont have any idea of what to write in the exam room because visting the library was a nightmare. So you have to pass exams by all means cramming and 'mwakenya' are the only tools to get you away from the pass mark or even just but the exact required mark.
  The last paper has been done here you find everyone gloomy even the ever jovial guy who used to attend all the parties .Actually this is where you realize you are in a university studying to obtain a degree and the whole community is waiting for you. This is where you feel resigned but this is just but the beginning of a comrade life.

Demonstrations in Campus.

Demonstration have been day to day activity at the school from F houses where comrades stays to the School of Education. It may be the best way where comrades express their issues affecting them .It has been a daily activity at F houses to hear students scream and set fire on some fence so as to attract the attention of the school administration due to normall  blackout as the school has failed to install another transformer as the old one is being overloaded by the supply to many other hostels. Students have been irritated on how the school administration takes action upon it making them more furious keeping in mind the F houses are situated distance from the school and in a forest like enviroment endangering students life .Students have to wait till late hours so that they can read and prepare supper as the power shortage takes 4-5 hours, some students take the advantage of not finishing their assignments on time as they have an excuse to give their Lecturers .School administarat...

Moi University Red Cross Team

Moi University Kenya Red Cross Monday, 22 February 2016 Kenya Red Cross Moi University chapter in conjuction with the Kenya Red Cross Uasin Gishu  Branch had a clean up activity within the institution.  The event started early in the morning through Academic highway, library grounds to the corridors of hostels .A huge number of members turned up for the event as it was on a wekeend. Moi University Red cross team along academic highway The event was successful as they managed to clean up all the places which were in a mess . There followed a after work party whereby the members enjoyed themselves .Those in attendance were able to get dissemination of all what it pertains to be a red Crosser and also got educated on some of the first aid practices.
